For Ohio University Career Services, I contributed to the creation of an interactive version of the NACE Competency Assessment Tool using Storyline 360. Instead of a static reading document, this updated version allows students to engage with the content, providing them with an interactive experience.
Based on the students’ choices, the tool generates scores and offers personalized feedback, including tips for improvement. The assessment covers nine categories, each with a table of dimensions and proficiency classification levels.
The screencast above is an example from the Career and Development category, demonstrating how the tool functions. Ohio University Career Services requested this update to enhance the effectiveness and engagement of the assessment in guiding students’ professional development.
